PRIVACY POLICY “FSAE Italy” APP 2024

We inform you that ANFIA SERVICE S.r.l., located at Corso Galileo Ferraris, 61 – 10128 Turin, will process your Personal Data in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (“Regulation” or “GDPR“). This includes any data that you share or that we acquire while you are browsing the “FSAE Italy” app (the “App”).

To ensure that the App works appropriately, we need to process the data and information of users who decide to register for it. This includes information from third parties, such as when you connect to the App via your social accounts or upload information directly from these accounts to complete your profile.

Information you share with us.

When using our services, you choose to provide us with certain information, including:

  • When you sign up for an account, we will request your phone number, email address, and other information necessary for our services to function correctly. This information may include your gender, date of birth, CV, and professional preferences. 
  • If you participate in surveys, focus groups, or other surveys on our platform, we will collect the opinions, responses, and contributions that you share with us. 
  • If you contact our support team for assistance, we will collect and store the information you provide during the support process. 
  • Lastly, we will save and store any chats you have with other users on the platform and any content you post on your profile.

Information we receive from others.

In addition to the information you provide directly to us, we receive information about you from other sources, specifically other users of the App, who may share information about you when they use our services, for example, when they interact with you in a chat or when they submit a report about you.

Information is automatically generated or collected when you use our services.

When you use our services, technical information is generated about the features you use, how you use them and the device from which you access them. 

Information Usage: Using the App involves processing and creating personal data about your activities on the App, such as when you log in, use features, and perform actions.

Device Information: When you access our services, we collect information from and about your device(s). Information collected at the software and hardware level includes IP address, device ID and type, app settings and features, app crashes, and other identifiers associated with cookies or other technologies that can uniquely identify a device.

Information collected through cookies and similar technologies: We do not automatically collect information through “cookies.” A cookie is a text file containing small amounts of information that a website can send to a user’s browser. The cookie can be stored on the user’s computer as a tag that identifies the computer but not the user.

Other information: With your consent, we may collect other information related to your photos and videos (for example, if you choose to publish an image or video or participate in streaming features on our services).

How we use your information.

To manage your account and provide you with the services of the App, including but not limited to:

  • Creating and managing your account.
  • Providing you with assistance and replying to your messages or requests.
  • Communicate with you and provide you with information about our services.
  • Customise prices, offer discounts and other promotions and complete the processing of your transactions.

To create professional opportunities, including:

  • Recommending your profile and the profiles of our sponsors.
  • Allowing users to search and find profiles of interest among our sponsors.

Prevent, detect, and combat fraud and other illegal or unauthorised activities:

  • Identifying and resolving ongoing (or suspected) violations. 
  • Implement countermeasures against breaches.
  • Store data related to violations. 
  • Exercise and enforce the rights of Anfia Service.
  • Communicate with people who make a report and let them know what we are doing about it.

To ensure compliance with the law, we will:

  • Comply with legal requirements.
  • Assist law enforcement agencies.

To process your information as described in this Privacy Policy, we respect and comply with the following legal requirements:

Providing you with our services: We process your information for the above purposes to fulfil the contract you have entered into with us.

Legitimate interest: We process your information based on our legitimate interests for the above purposes. For example, we analyse user behaviour on our services to improve our features, suggest offers that we think may be of interest to you, and promote our services. We also process information to help us ensure the safety of our members and, where necessary, exercise our legal rights, assist law enforcement authorities, and enable us to defend ourselves in the event of legal proceedings.

Consent: Some processing, such as geolocation, requires your consent. In some instances, you may withdraw your consent by changing your settings (for example, consenting to the collection of your geolocation) or deleting the content in question (for example, if you have entered or added information to your profile that may be considered sensitive). In any event, you may withdraw your consent by contacting us at the addresses and contact details set out at the end of this Privacy Policy.

How we share information.

Sharing your information with other users is necessary for the App to work.

We also share some of our members’ information with service providers who help us operate our services correctly.

Your rights and options.

Access/update tools in the App. Various tools and settings in your account can help you access, edit, or remove information you have provided to us that is directly associated with your account within our service. Contact our customer support team for assistance if you have any questions about these tools and settings.

Device authorisation. Mobile platforms may have system permissions for various types of data related to the device itself and for notifications (for example, permissions to access contacts on the phone, camera roll or camera, geolocation services, push notifications and ad IDs). You can change the settings on your device to opt in or out of the collection and processing of such data (and also to opt in or out of receiving related notifications). If you opt out of some of this information, some of our services may not function properly or lose some features.

Uninstalling. You can stop the App from collecting information by uninstalling it using the standard uninstall process for your device. Deleting the App from your device does not mean closing your account. To proceed with closing your account, you will need to use the appropriate feature within our service.

Closing the account. You can close your account by using the App’s appropriate function.

Right to Access/Acceptance. You have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you and, in certain circumstances, to receive this information in a portable format. You can exercise this right to access information directly from our service by sending a request to the addresses below or by using the appropriate links that can also be found at the bottom of email communications. You can request a list of the suppliers responsible for processing the data for the App’s operation at the addresses below.

Right of cancellation/deletion. You may submit a request to remove the personal information we hold about you. You may exercise your right to have your information removed by sending a request to the contact details below or using the appropriate links, which may also be found at the bottom of email communications.

Right of correction/amendment/update. You can correct most of the information you provided using the edit profile function available directly within our service. If you believe the information, we hold about you needs to be corrected, you can contact us to have it corrected.

Right of objection/restriction. You may also have the right to object to or request the restriction of certain data processing operations. Please contact us to do so.

How long will we keep your information?

To protect the security and privacy of people using our services, account information is retained for six months after the account is closed or the service is terminated by the App, which can happen at any time. After this period, we will delete all of your information, except for certain information that we are required to retain for legal obligations and legitimate interest reasons.

Our services are only available to people over the age of eighteen.

This section applies to Users in Switzerland, and, for such Users, supersedes any other possibly divergent or conflicting information contained in the privacy policy.

The rights of Users according to the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection

Users may exercise certain rights regarding their Data within the limits of law, including the following:

  • right of access to Personal Data;
  • right to object to the processing of their Personal Data (which also allows Users to demand that processing of Personal Data be restricted, Personal Data be deleted or destroyed, specific disclosures of Personal Data to third parties be prohibited);
  • right to receive their Personal Data and have it transferred to another controller (data portability);
  • right to ask for incorrect Personal Data to be corrected.

How to exercise these rights

Any requests to exercise User rights can be directed to the Owner through the contact details provided in this document. Such requests are free of charge and will be answered by the Owner as early as possible, providing Users with the information required by law.
